01 · What each one is

BroomDesk

Software for cleaning companies on a flat monthly price: recurring scheduling, booking and price-calculator widgets for your own site, quotes and invoices with online payments, payroll, routes, a phone app for cleaners that keeps working without signal, and on the top plan an AI receptionist that texts back missed calls. Unlimited team members on every plan.

Jobber

Jobber publishes four plans that differ by price and by how many users they include, from one user on Core to fifteen on Plus. The pricing is built around a defined team size, and the bill moves when the team does.

What we verified: Four plan prices, the users included in each, the $29 extra user rate, and their own definition of a user.

Pricing model: A monthly plan price plus $29 a month for every user beyond the number the plan includes.

03 · Do the arithmetic

Twelve cleaners on Grow, using their published numbers

  1. Grow is $199 a month and includes 5 users.
  2. Twelve people who need access means 7 extra users.
  3. 7 extra users at $29 a month is $203.
  4. $199 plus $203 is $402 a month.

$402 a month on Jobber Grow. BroomDesk Business is $99 a month at any team size, so the gap at twelve cleaners is $303 a month, or $3,636 a year.

That is a price comparison, not a feature comparison. The two plans are not the same product and we have not verified what Grow contains. Check how many of your cleaners actually need an account before you use this number, because if they do not log in, you do not pay for them either way.

04 · Where the two differ

Pricing model

Edge: BroomDesk
BroomDesk
One price per plan. Every team member is included, at any number.
Jobber
Plan price plus $29 a month for each user over the included count. Core includes 1, Connect 1, Grow 5, Plus 15.

Better for: BroomDesk once your headcount passes what the plan includes. Jobber if you are solo or office only, where the included user is the only one you need.

What one more cleaner costs

Edge: BroomDesk
BroomDesk
Nothing. Your bill does not move.
Jobber
$29 a month once you are past the included count, which is $348 a year for that person.

Better for: BroomDesk for any business that hires or replaces people. The line moves every time someone joins.

Entry price for a solo operator

Edge: BroomDesk
BroomDesk
Starter is $29 a month.
Jobber
Core is $49 a month and includes one user.

Better for: BroomDesk on the entry number, by $20 a month. Their higher plans cost more and may contain more; we have not compared the contents.

What the price includes

Edge: Even
BroomDesk
Every plan carries unlimited team members, the booking and calculator widgets, recurring scheduling, payments, and the SMS and email engine. Routes, payroll and reviews are on Pro. Commercial billing, inspections and the AI receptionist are on Business.
Jobber
We verified their prices and their user rule, nothing else. We do not claim a Jobber plan is missing anything, because we did not check.

Better for: Whichever one does the job you are actually stuck on. Put the two feature lists side by side and be specific about what you need.

05 · Where Jobber is the better buy

A comparison page with nothing good to say about the other product is an advertisement. Here is what Jobber does better or cheaper than we do.

Their pricing page is the clearest of the five

Jobber publishes every plan price, the users each one includes, the extra user rate and their own definition of a user. We verified all of it in one visit. Two of the other four vendors on this site did not give us a price we could verify from their own page.

Per-user pricing is not automatically the wrong shape

If you are solo, or an office of one dispatching subcontractors who never log in, Jobber Core charges you for the one user you have and the $29 rate never applies to you.

We are new and we have nothing to show you

BroomDesk launched in 2026. There are no customers yet, so there are no reviews, no case studies and no names on this page. Wanting software other cleaning companies already run is a fair reason not to pick us.

06 · Who should choose which

Choose Jobber if

  • You are solo or a one-desk office, and the user your plan includes is the only one you need.
  • You have already watched Jobber run in a business like yours and you want the same setup.

Choose BroomDesk if

  • Your team is bigger than the users your plan includes, and still growing.
  • You want the bill to stay flat in the month you hire two people.
  • You want unlimited team members on the $29 plan, not only on the $499 one.
07 · Everything we checked

Everything this page says about Jobber comes from their pricing page on August 3, 2026. Their numbers are published plainly and they are easy to check, so check them.

  • Jobber defines a user on its pricing page as "anyone who accesses your account at the office or in the field" to view or manage the team schedule.

There are no customer quotes, star ratings or company logos on this page. BroomDesk has no customers yet, so there is nothing real to show, and we would rather leave the space empty than fill it with something we made up. The same rule governs every number above.

The short version

If your team fits inside an included user count, the gap we describe never opens and the rest of this page is noise. If it does not fit, the arithmetic above is the whole argument, and you can do it yourself in thirty seconds with your own headcount.
